The property is intimate enough to remain personal, yet varied enough to hold quiet natural areas, food-growing spaces, simple accommodation and places for shared activity. The intention is to develop Heart Space without losing the natural character that makes it special.
The land currently includes:
• One small private home • Around 100 fruit trees • Herbs and other edible plants • The first cultivated areas • A greenhouse and water system in development • Space for future guest accommodation and a miniramp for skateboarding.
Visit Heart Space
Day visits may be possible by prior arrangement.
Because Heart Space is currently both Corey’s home and an active development site, all visits must be agreed in advance. When contacting Corey or Mary, please tell them a little about yourself and what interests you about the project.
A gentler way to experience Costa Rica
Future guests travelling with Corey and Mary will be able to stay at Heart Space as part of a personally supported journey. The offer is designed especially for travellers who want companionship, reassurance and a little extra help along the way. Supported stays with Mary and Corey is currently in development.

A living landscape
Mango, avocado, jackfruit, breadfruit, papaya, banana, starfruit, citrus and many other tropical fruits and herbs are already growing across the property.
The aim is to care for what has been planted, strengthen the water and growing systems and gradually create a more abundant edible landscape for residents and future guests.
The longer-term plan includes three small guest cabins, a camping or glamping area, shared spaces for food and community, and a miniramp for skateboarding.
Each element is intended to serve the same purpose: creating opportunities to rest, participate, move and experience a more direct connection with nature.
